CHICAGO — Frontlines PAC today joined the chorus of voices calling for Senate Republicans to take action on gun violence in the wake of the latest mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton. Common-sense gun safety legislation remains stalled as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) refuses to even allow votes on potential life-saving measures.
“Enough is enough,” said Frontlines Executive Director Dave Miranda. “No more ‘thoughts and prayers.’ It’s past time for Massacre Mitch and Senate Republicans to stop passing the buck and start taking action.”
To date, McConnell has received $1.26 million in campaign contributions from the NRA.
