Frontlines Political Action Committee launched today, beginning its mission to combat foreign and domestic misinformation campaigns and support progressive policies.
“Frontlines was created to educate voters about the issues that matter to working families,” said Executive Director Dave Miranda. “We’re on the front lines, fighting back against foreign influence campaigns and working to expand economic prosperity for all Americans.”
Frontlines will focus on informing voters on four key issues:
- Affordable Healthcare: reducing costs and increasing access to quality health care
- Combating Climate Change: lower-cost energy and cleaner energy sources
- Protecting Democracy: eliminating the influence of foreign powers on our elections, expanding ballot access for citizens and increasing voter turnout
- Stronger Economy: ensuring that the internet remains open and equitable for all users and providers, expanding access to accurate information and increasing rural high-speed internet access
Frontlines will also work to educate voters about candidates who fail to support these issues.
“If someone running for office doesn’t support working families and doesn’t believe in expanding economic opportunity, we’re going to make sure voters know about it,” said Miranda.
