CHICAGO — Frontlines PAC today condemned Trump’s lawsuit to overturn our health care law. The lawsuit will determine whether or not tens of millions of Americans are able to access health care.

If Trump’s lawsuit is successful, prescription drugs will cost more, people with preexisting conditions will be dropped by insurers, and millions of Americans will lose their access to health care,” said Frontlines Executive Director Dave Miranda.

As many as 130 million Americans with preexisting conditions could lose their health care coverage if the Trump lawsuit wins. Coverage for the 17 million Americans covered under Medicaid expansion would be at risk. The Medicare “donut hole” will be reopened, which will result in more than 5 million seniors each year paying more for prescription drugs.
